Introduction

  

Our journey began in 2018, we have been dedicated to transforming pet health with fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals. 

It all started one fine day when me and partner , Darren and Casey adopted a Miniature Poodle just at 2 months old, he was the eldest of all siblings of 4 born in Singapore. However, when he was delivered, he did not have the best of energy level and activeness. He was fed dry kibbles of a particular good brand from New Zealand and mixing with a brand of wet canned food. Both me and my partner is an advocate for healthy diet and living, we personally are health and wellness and particular in the food we eat on a daily basis. Noticing that our Poodle was not in the best shape, we decided to then research on the best diet that we could provide for him.

We came across numerous articles on the Pros and Cons of a fresh cooked diet/raw diet vs dry kibbles and canned food. We then decided to freshly prep meals from the supermarket into his daily bowl. Initially the fresh cooked meals were introduced in addition to his dry kibbles for a start. Gradually we fully converted his meals to fresh cooked meals,

The results were great, he started to have higher energy level, became much more active and also a big noticeable change was that his fur was getting thicker, darker in brown and more smooth and silky. We then decided to donate his leftovers of kibbles away and to continue on a rotating mix of different proteins , fiber and some carbs. 

This later became the start of our entrepreneurship, we were operating home based to provide this fresh cooked meals to other dogs as well and it grew to a sizable community and then we started our first shop at 218 Pasir Panjang Road as our kitchen with an AVS license and store frontage selling pets accessories , bowls , bed and treats , toys and many others in additional to our fresh cooked food.

 

At Mum Mum Gourmet, we specialize in Healthy Pet Diets that prioritize the well-being of your canine companions. The basis of our meals revolve along a mandatory protein needs of a dog of his weight and age per day as well as the amount of calories needed and a good amount of fiber for good digestion. No seasoning , preservatives were used explaining a short shelf life of 3 months in the freezer.
